One of those days

Ever had one of those days.... where you feel so crabby that you can hardly stand your own company. Every time you turn around, it's someone with a complaint, just another to add to your list. Will the day ever end?

Dodge Nitro

My new vehicle.... I like it !
The hostess sold it to me. A great salesman.
She really got a kick out of me when she first saw me. I was limping a small bit because of a sore knee, and she said I got just what I deserved. Said I had commented a couple months ago , about the Hostess and co. , and how they were really starting to show their ages. (polyps in the stomach, and other dark places, hearing loss, periods that last 3 weeks, bladder lifts, holes in the retinas, hysterectomies , endometriosis ).... hmmm , did I miss something... was it vaginal dryness? Oh no it wasn't, .... I stand corrected, .... sorry lady Di.
P.S. My knee is doing better

Chris Benoit

On behalf of my kids, and their love of wrestling, todays blog will be about Chris Benoit.

In 2000 and 2004, he was named Oustanding Wrestler of the Year by the Wrestling Observer newsletter and in 2004 he was named Wrestler of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine. The Edmonton, Canada native trained to become a wrestler in Calgary, and honed his skills in Japan before becoming a regular on U.S. national promotions in the mid-1990s. Benoit's career highlight took place in New York, when he won his first World Wrestling Entertainment world heavyweight championship in Madison Square Garden in the main event of WrestleMania XX.Benoit cried as he celebrated in the ring with his wife and son.

I am back

Well, well.... it sure feels good to be back at the computer. It was gone to the computer doctor, and is finally back. It had caught some viruses from the kids ( no Joke). Thanks to Trevor ( a former Grand Hotel Trivia attendee) things are working fine, and everyone is happier.

All is well on the home front. I did a bit of golfing ( three days in a row) and found it very relaxing. Did visit a few water hazards on one round ( # 3, # 7, and also on #9 twice in the same brook). Despite all that the golfing is pretty good. I used my new 9 wood I got for Mother's Day last year, and it's becoming a close friend. Lover Boy and I went golfing Saturday night, and had a real nice time. Stopped on the bridge to watch a mother duck and her young. Really nice evening. Friday I am golfing in the Argyle "Blue " Links tournament. It should be entertaining and our team should do very well. I will have to stop at the Abbott's Harbour Store for a couple small purchases for my golf bag.... to improve my putting , of course.

I lost my summer job, at last ! It seems that son #1 is ready, willing, and able to mow the lawn. I am excited and will remain that way until it wears off . That shouldn't be too long.

The camper is ready for action, and soon we'll head out for a weekend. We bought a new battery and are confident that things will be better. AND No signs of mice anywhere.

Did anyone know Paris Hilton was in jail??? Ya, right............ Here's some Paris jokes from the late night shows...

~~You probably have heard, Paris Hilton escaped from jail. I guess she was skinny enough to slip through the bars.
~~She snuck out in a mailing tube.
~~She was in jail for just over 74 hours. I’ve been in Monopoly jail longer.
~~Paris Hilton in the cooler. And you know the problem with Paris being in prison, she’s surrounded by sex offenders; she’s surrounded by drug dealers; felons . . . you know, just like when she was on the outside.
~~Paris Hilton has been in jail for three days. They’re already making a movie about Paris Hilton being in jail. I believe they’re calling it "The Bird Brain of Alcatraz.”

Good night all.
